Pink and Chocolate Stains

PICT0002 (4)
Managed to finish this dress last night and I wore it to church.  I think it’s perfect for a Valentine’s day theme especially with the scallop edge, notice I’m wearing one of those heart pins I made (see Pretty in Pink).  I gave them to some people in my Sunday school class.  Speaking of class valentines, my sister has been working all day on cute felt valentines for her daughter to give at school.  I’ll show them off tomorrow.  Anyway, the dress is in two parts, a pink jumper with sash and tie straps, and a white ruffled underskirt.  I would have attached them together, but this makes it more versatile and a heck of lot easier to get on.  I had several people compliment it and of course someone made a Bo Peep joke.  Problem came when I accidently spilt hot chocolate on it during Sunday school.  Did you know you are suppose to treat chocolate stains with warm or hot water, not cold?  Got it out instantly.  Don’t believe me?  I took this photo after the incident.  It works.
Here’s the updated list:
  • Case
  • Skirt
  • Pink Dress
  • Cat dress
  • Altered t-shirt
  • kit
  • bunka doll
Three down, four to go.  The next one’s going to be so cute.
